From luxury lofts to restaurants, corporate offices and coffee, it’s all at Drayton Mills. Completed in December 2015, Drayton Mills Lofts has become a thriving residential community, featuring a state-of-art fitness center, lap pool and bustling social spaces. These 289 luxury lofts — combined with nearly 60,000 square feet of commercial space at Drayton Mills Marketplace – represent the largest historic restoration project in South Carolina to date.
Drayton Mills is at the heart of a resurgence in the surrounding community. Conveniently located along Drayton Road and less than 3 miles from Morgan Square, Drayton Mills Marketplace is also fast becoming a destination for community events. Spartanburg School District 7 recently opened the new Drayton Mills Elementary School and the new Spartanburg High School.
Fast Facts about Drayton:
The Warehouses:
Two historic buildings on the Drayton Mills campus house commercial space. The Warehouses, constructed between 1918-1950s, and positioned at the center of the site, serve as the heart of the campus. Totaling 60,000 square feet and distributed over a wide variety of spaces, the Warehouses offer restaurant, retail, and office tenants truly unique options. With a frequent rotation of special events and music, the Warehouses bring life to the campus from morning to night, weekdays and weekends alike.
The Company Store:
Built in 1919 and fronting Drayton Road, the Company Store serves as the face of the campus. This elegantly detailed, slate-roofed building still features its original windows and tin ceilings and is home to Dray Bar & Grill, a creation of chef Bob Munnich.
